My name is Michael Grasso. I am 23 years old and I am a senior at UCF. I am majoring in IDS with Life/Biomedical Science, Health Science, and Physical science. I choose IDS major because it was the best way for me to reach my goal of going to Chiropractic College in Daytona. I got accepted to the college a month ago and I’m moving in late December. I choose UCF mainly because it was close to my family and because it is in Orlando. The significance of Orlando is that I do water sports and I own half of Oak wakeskates inc. My short-term goals include graduating and passing my last 2 classes and finding a new place to live on the water in Daytona. My long term goals include me graduating from Chiropractic college and growing my company along with starting my own clothing company, Oak Clothing.
My name is John D. Zillmann and I am a 27 year old graduating senior. By now you have probably distinguished that my major is IDS, it’s focused in education and life/biomedical science, with minors in health science and science education.
I choose UCF after I obtained my associates degree from SCC because I had heard from friends that it was a good school, and I could have fun while receiving my education there. I felt that IDS was a good option for me after I had changed my major from elementary education to science education but then felt that the internships were not for me. The IDS degree program that I choose fit right into the courses that I had previously taken. I feel that UCF has delivered an eminent education to me and I have had fun while attending classes here.
Upon graduation, my short term goals are to seek either a middle school science educator position or something else that will pay more. My long goals are to use the information that I have acquired from UCF to be triumphant in whatever career path I choose and to start a family of my own and live a gratifying life.
